"Some men and women hear words. Words, again and again, the same words. Just words? Those words are discriminatory, homophobic, lesbophobic, transphobic. Some of them will be insulted, despised, harassed, threatened, mugged, tortured, killed.
Who are the assailants? Who are the victims? Those words are criminal, murderous, lethal. Deadly. It’s like a slap or a punch in the face. Or even worse.
